Manassas was an American rock band, formed by Stephen Stills in 1971. The nucleus of the band had already backed Stills on his July 1971 album, and in May 1972, the double album, Manassas, was released. Down The Road was released in 1973, but in October of that year the band split up. This occurred just after Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young were re-united on stage, during a Manassas concert, at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom. Passarelli and Lala went to Stills' backing band. Harris, Perkins and Hillman joined the Souther-Hillman-Furay Band.Side 1 The Raven01 - Song of Love02 - Rock and Roll Crazies, Cuban Bluegrass03 - Jet Set (Sigh)04 - Anyway05 - Both of Us (Bound to Lose)Side 2 The Wilderness06 - Fallen Eagle07 - Jesus Gave Love Away for Free08 - Colorado09 - So Begins the Task10 - Hide It So Deep11 - Don't Look at My ShadowSide 3 Consider12 - It Doesn't Matter13 - Johnny's Garden14 - Bound to Fall15 - How Far16 - Move Around17 - The Love GangsterSide 4 Rock & Roll is Here to Stay18 - What to Do19 - Right Now20 - The Treasure (Take One)21 - Blues ManLINK |
