In 1962 Tim Rose met singer Cass Elliot, at a party in Georgetown, D.C., and formed a folk trio with her and singer John Brown called The Triumvirate. Later, after John was replaced by James (Jim) Hendricks they changed the name to The Big 3. They soon landed a job at The Bitter End, a well-known folk club in New York's Greenwich Village, along with Cafe Wha?, The Night Owl, and The Gaslight Cafe, along with many musicians who lived at the nearby Albert Hotel. Rose described Cass Elliot as the funniest and most talented person he ever met. They had appeared on 26 national television shows, including Hootenanny (1963), The Danny Kaye Show (1963), and The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (1962).01 - Young Girl's Lament02 - The Banjo Song03 - Winken, Blinken and Nod04 - Grandfather's Clock05 - Come Away Melinda06 - Wild Woman07 - Nora's Dove08 - Come Along09 - Tony and Delia10 - Ho Honey Oh11 - Rider12 - I May Be Right13 - Anna Fia (Feher)14 - Silkie15 - Ringo16 - Down in the Valley17 - All the Pretty Little Horses18 - Glory, GloryLINK

Longbranch Pennywhistle was a country rock/folk music group consisting of Glenn Frey and John David Souther. They released this self-titled album in 1969 under the Amos Records label. However, the label dissolved a couple years later in 1971, and the group split up. Shortly thereafter, Frey formed The Eagles. Souther and Frey would continue to collaborate, also with fellow Eagle Don Henley, occasionally on such Eagles classics as "The Best of My Love", "New Kid in Town", "Victim of Love", "The Sad Café", and "Heartache Tonight". They also recorded the song "I Can't Believe It" used in the 1971 film Vanishing Point. This song does not appear on Longbranch Pennywhistle's only album.01 - Jubilee Anne02 - Run Boy Run03 - Rebecca04 - Lucky Love05 - Kite Woman06 - Bring Back Funky Women07 - Star-Spangled Bus08 - Mister Mister09 - Don't Talk Now10 - Never Have EnoughLINK

ZZ Top is an American blues rock trio, formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas. Comprising of Billy Gibbons (vocals and guitar), Dusty Hill (vocals, bass, and keyboards), and Frank Beard (drums and percussion), ZZ Top was ranked number 44 on VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.". The trio's original lineup has been intact for over 40 years; their longevity together of 41 years has placed them second only to the Four Tops, whose original band members remained intact from 1953 until the death of Lawrence Payton in 1997. ZZ Top retained the services of the same manager, Bill Ham, until September, 2006. Byrds is the twelfth album by the American rock band The Byrds and was released in March 1973 on Asylum Records. It was recorded as the centerpiece of a reunion between the five original members of The Byrds: Roger McGuinn, Gene Clark, David Crosby, Chris Hillman, and Michael Clarke. The last time that all five members had worked together as The Byrds was in 1966, prior to Gene Clark's departure from the band. During the reunion, the current, latter-day line-up of the band continued to make live appearances, with McGuinn being the only member common to both versions of the group.01 - Full Circle Song02 - Sweet Mary03 - Changing Heart04 - For Free05 - Born To Rock & Roll06 - Things Will Be Better07 - Cowgirl In The Sand08 - Long Live The King09 - Borrowing Time10 - Laughing11 - (See The Sky) About To RainLINK

This is a very rare Acetate once owned by WNEW Radio in New York. They took two concerts by CCR and had them pressed onto an Acetate disc to be played during the summer of 1970. The concerts are 5-2-1970 in Seattle, and 5-13-1970 in New York. The 5-2-1970 concert in Seattle is an Audience Recording from very near the stage and is complete! There was British rock before the Beatles, but it wasn't particularly great, it was often stiff and stilted, sounding tentative. Still, there were some gems amidst the mediocrity, songs by Billy Fury, Cliff Richard, or Johnny Kidd & the Pirates, and the best thing about this seven-disc series is that it captures both the good and the bad, providing a thorough retrospective of this little-acknowledged (especially to American collectors) period of rock & roll (All Music Guide). The Beatles - 1966 - Revolver Revolver is the seventh album by The Beatles, released on 5 August 1966. Many of the tracks on Revolver are marked by an electric guitar-rock sound, in contrast with their previous, folk rock inspired Rubber Soul. It reached number one on both the UK chart and US chart and stayed at the top spot for seven weeks and six weeks, respectively. The album was released before their last tour in August 1966, but they did not perform songs from the album live. Their reasoning for this was that many of the tracks on the album, such as "Tomorrow Never Knows", were too complex to perform with live instruments. They toured with "Paperback Writer" as their only new song from 1966, which was not on the album. Placed at number 3 in the Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time, the album is often regarded as one of the greatest achievements in rock music history, and one of the Beatles' greatest studio achievements.01 - Taxman02 - Eleanor Rigby03 - I'm Only Sleeping04 - Love You To05 - Here, There And Everywhere06 - Yellow Submarine07 - She Said She Said08 - Good Day Sunshine09 - And Your Bird Can Sing10 - For No One11 - Doctor Robert12 - I Want To Tell You13 - Got To Get You Into My Life14 - Tomorrow Never KnowsLINK The Beatles - 1966 - The Alternate Revolver Revolver alternate takes and mixes.01 - Taxman02 - Eleanor Rigby03 - I'm Only Sleeping04 - Love You To05 - Here, There And Everywhere06 - Yellow Submarine07 - She Said She Said08 - God Day Sunshine09 - And Your Bird Can Sing10 - For No One11 - Doctor Robert12 - I Want To Tell You13 - Got To Get You Into My Life14 - Tomorrow Never Knows15 - And Your Bird Can Sing Take 1016 - I'm Only Sleeping Take 117 - Eleanor Rigby Take 1418 - For No One Take 1419 - She Said She Said Demo20 - Taxman Take 1221 - Tomorrow Never Knows Take 122 - I'm Only Sleeping Rehersal23 - Got To Get You Into My Life T924 - Here, There And Everywhere T1325 - I'm Only Sleeping Mono26 - Tomorrow Never Knows MonoLINK The Beatles - 1966 - Revolving Revolver Studio Demos and OuttakesDisc 101 - He Said, He Said (Home Tape)02 - He Said, He Said (Home Tape)03 - He Said, He Said (Home Tape)04 - He Said, He Said (Home Tape)05 - She Said, She Said (Home Tape)06 - She Said, She Said (Home Tape)07 - She Said, She Said (Home Tape)08 - Tomorrow Never Knows (Take 1)09 - Got To Get You Into My Life10 - Got To Get You Into My Life11 - Paperback Writer (Take 1)12 - Paperback Writer (Take 2)13 - And Your Bird Can Sing (Take 2)14 - And Your Bird Can Sing15 - Taxman (Take 11 RS95)16 - Eleanor Rigby (Strings Only)17 - I'm Only Sleeping (Rehearsal)18 - I'm Only Sleeping (Take 1)19 - For No One (Take 1)20 - For No One (Take 2)21 - For No One (Take 10)22 - For No One (Take 14)23 - Yellow Submarine (Take 5 RS95)24 - Here, There And Everywhere25 - Here, There And Everywhere26 - For No One (Take 10)27 - For No One (Take 10)28 - For No One (Take 10)29 - For No One (Take 14)30 - Here, There And Everywhere31 - Here, There And Everywhere32 - Here, There And Everywhere33 - Here, There And EverywhereDisc 201 - Taxman (Mono_ Take 12)02 - Eleanor Rigby (Mono_ Take 15)03 - I'm Only Sleeping (Mono)04 - Love You To (Mono_ Take 7)05 - Here, There And Everywhere06 - Yellow Submarine (Mono_ Take 5)07 - She Said, She Said (Mono)08 - Good Day Sunshine (Mono)09 - And Your Bird Can Sing (Mono)10 - For No One (Mono_ Take 14)11 - Doctor Robert (Mono_ Take 7)12 - I Want To Tell You (Mono)13 - Got To Get You Into My Life14 - Tomorrow Never Knows (Mono)15 - Paperback Writer (Mono_ Take 2)16 - Rain (Mono_ Take 7)17 - I'm Only Sleeping (Mono)18 - And Your Bird Can Sing (Mono)19 - Doctor Robert (Mono_ Take 7)20 - Tomorrow Never Knows (Mono)21 - Paperback Writer (Stereo)22 - I'm Only Sleeping (Stereo)23 - Doctor Robert (Stereo_ Take 7) LINK
