The Upside Dawne are an obscure psychedelic band from the 60's and this self-titled album is very rare release on the Audio Label of Lawrence, Kansas. The Illusions morphed into the Upside Dawne when Mike Jordan (lead guitar) and Bob Basow (vocal, sax) in the Illusions graduated from KU. Steve Hall (drums) knew Jim Stringer (lead guitar), who knew Larry Franklin (rhythm guiter) and Tom Burdine (bass), so that's how they came to join the group. When Jim Stringer and Steve Hall left to form Tide, the Upside Dawne expanded into a 7-piece group with Scott Korchak, Garth Fundis and Dana Elniff on horns and vocals.01 - Seven And Seven Is02 - Heatwave-Gloria03 - Respect04 - Supremes Medley05 - Stormy Monday06 - On The Outside (Lookin' In)07 - Somebody To Love08 - Hold On09 - Light My Fire10 - 1-2-3 Shotgun11 - Walk On By12 - Tell It Like It Is V1 (Bonus)13 - Tell It Like It Is V2 (Bonus)LINK |
