Dr Marigold’s Prescription started in 1968 as a backing group for Billy Fury, after the Blue Flames, (which included Georgie Fame) and The Plainsmen. Alan French (keyboards), Bill French (bass), Dave Morris (drums), Fred Radley (guitar, vocals). In the early days Dr Marigold did back several artists to include: Bruce Channel (USA), John Walker (Walker brothers) USA, The Flirtations, Madeline Bell, Dominic Grant was not a member of the band, although Dr. Marigold backed him for a while on a promotional tour. They produced two albums. "Pictures Of Life” is their debut from 1969.
