The Original Surfaris were a surf rock group from Orange County, California, active in the 1960s. Around 1960, The Original Surfaris were formed. Originally called the Surfaris, they changed their name to the Original Surfaris after another band also called the Surfaris became widely famous for the song "Wipe Out". Larry Weed (Lead Guitar), Chuck Vehle (Rhythm Guitar), Jim Tran (Bass Guitar), Doug Wiseman (Saxophone), Al Valdez (Piano) and Mike Biondi (drums).
