Avalon is an American contemporary Christian vocal quartet who has earned multiple RIAA-certified gold records, sold four million albums, and released 22 number one Christian hits. Avalon was formed in 1995 by Grant Cunningham, A&R director at Sparrow Records. Cunningham was in search of a vocal group that could sing tight harmonies and carry God's message to the world. Actual lineup, after many changes is Greg Long, Janna Long, Amy Richardson and Jeremi Richardson. Joy: A Christmas Collection is Avalon's fourth release, and their first Christmas album.
