Unreleased recordings for Cat Stevens
Izitso album. 1976 Copenhagen sessions with Ringo on drums. Previous
released on the bootleg "Beatles - Sink In The Can". A very strange
compilation of tracks. There's even a bootleg of this bootleg with the
original Lee Dorsey song "working in the colemine" credited to the
Beatles. Everything what should not be on that album is ommited to
create a fine Cat Steven album. The sessions of Cat Stevens with Ringo
have now been compiled in the correct order.

 Bang was an American hard rock band from Florida, active briefly in the early 1970s. The group released three albums on Capitol Records, and had one minor hit single with "Questions", which reached #90 on the Billboard Hot 100. After a 25 year hiatus, the group reformed in the early 2000s and recorded 3 more albums.  Forest were an English psychedelic folk trio who formed in Grimsby, Lincolnshire in 1966. Made up of brothers Martin Welham, Adrian Welham and school friend Dez Allenby, they started out performing unaccompanied traditional folk music in a similar vein to contemporaries The Watersons and The Young Tradition. The band were pioneers of the nascent 1960s psychedelic folk scene writing unconventionally crafted songs evoking Britain's ancient groves using a variety of acoustic instruments. Beginning life under the name The Foresters of Walesby, they began singing unaccompanied vocal harmony folk songs in Lincolnshire folk clubs. After relocating to Birmingham in 1968 the band shortened their name to Forest and soon progressed to writing within the burgeoning psychedelic folk movement in the wake of the Incredible String Band's emergence in the mid-1960s. They were championed by DJ John Peel and performed several sessions for BBC Radio 1. In 1969 they were signed by Blackhill Enterprises and were amongst the first wave of signings for EMI's new progressive Harvest Records label. The non-album single "Searching for Shadows" was released in 1969, followed by Forest's debut eponymous album which featured an array of acoustic medieval sounding instruments, contrapunctal harmonies and pastoral lyrical imagery. Full Circle was released a year later, an eclectic set of songs with darker themes that saw more disparate styles incoporated into their brand of pagan folk. The album included the neo-classical 'Graveyard', opening track 'Hawk The Hawker' which was given a country music hint by the inclusion of steel guitar (played by session musician Gordon Huntley) and the traditional folk piece 'Famine Song', which saw the band return to their unaccompanied three-part harmony roots. Both gatefold album covers featured strikingly haunting artwork by artist Joan Melville.  German Prog/Hard Rock band Jeronimo, was founded in 1969 and in '69/'70 they had their first two hits "He Ya" and "Na Na Hey Hey". With these two chartbreakers, Jeronimo climbed to the number 1 position in almost all European countries. In 1970 Jeronimo and "Steppenwolf" toured successfully through Germany and in the same year Jeronimo partook in the legendary "Progressive Pop Festival" in Cologne. Following that, Jeronimo shared the headlines with such groups as "Deep Purple" and "Golden Earring" at various European open-air festivals. In 1970, Jeronimo, together with Creedence Clearwater, presented the album "Spirit Orgaszmus", which was a success throughout all of Europe. After 30 years and millions of records sold worldwide, Jeronimo is still cult. In 1999/2000, their hits "Na Na Hey Hey" and "He Ya" were re-released on numerous hit-compilations. The CD's "Cosmic Blues", "Time Ride" and "Best of" have been available in record stores since 1991.  Pavlov's Dog is a 1970s progressive rock/AOR band formed in St. Louis, Missouri in 1972. Pavlov's Dog originally comprised David Surkamp, Mark Gahr on lead guitar, Mike Safron, Rick Stockton, David Hamilton, Doug Rayburn, and Siegfried Carver. Mark Gahr left the band and was replaced by Steve Scorfina. On their second album At the Sound of the Bell (1976), Tom Nickeson was added to the line-up on guitar and he took over Hamilton's keyboard position after the album had been recorded as Hamilton left the band. Safron was still a member of the band but did not appear on the second album; former Yes drummer Bill Bruford played as a guest musician. Safron left in the aftermath of this, partially due to his failure to receive a promised credit on the album sleeve and the band's third album featured Kirk Sarkisian on drums. The band's debut Pampered Menial was briefly released in 1974 on ABC Records but then quickly re-issued by Columbia Records. The result was that both versions appeared in stores at nearly the same time, which may have confused the public. The album was produced by Sandy Pearlman and Murray Krugman who had found success earlier in the decade producing Blue Öyster Cult. Carver left the band after the release of Pampered Menial. Their second album At the Sound of the Bell followed on Columbia in 1975.  Alex Harvey was a Scottish rock musician. With The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, he built a reputation as an exciting live performer during the 1970s glam rock era. His musical roots were in Dixieland jazz and skiffle music, which enjoyed considerable popularity in England and Scotland during the late 1950s. From 1958-1965, he was the leader of Alex Harvey's Big Soul Band, playing blues and rock and roll songs and spent considerable time touring in the United Kingdom and Germany. He also won a competition that sought "Scotland's answer to Tommy Steele." Harvey became strongly identified with British rhythm and blues music, although he was equally able to play rock songs. After leaving the Big Soul Band, he briefly tried for a solo career, but with little success. By 1967, he found a positive direction for his career when he became a member of the pit band in the London stage production of the musical Hair. This band recorded the live LP Hair Rave Up which contained Harvey originals and other songs not from the stage show. In 1970 Harvey formed Rock Workshop with Ray Russell; their first, self-titled album contained an early version of "Hole In Her Stocking",later to appear on Framed. Harvey remained with "Hair" for five years. Roman Wall Blues is an album made after the Soul Band, and his time in the Hair pit band.
