The Numbers - 1980 - Anthology 64-67

Beat-styled harmony-pop group from Texas, formed in 1980 while attending a Dallas area high school. They gigged at all the punk/new wave clubs in the area. Terry Tutor (all guitars, piano and vocals), Larry Tutor (bass guitar, vocals) and Robert Dill (drums, glockenspiel, vocals). The band recorded this stuff in the early 80's and the whole "'64-'67" thing is a parody/homage to '60s garage band rock. The band is still active in Los Angeles as The Bordersnakes.
