New York City, August 28th and 29th, 1964. The Beatles arrived at the Delmonico Hotel at 3 AM. On the way into the hotel, Ringo's St Christopher precious medaillon was promptly stolen. Throughout the day, thousands of fans stood outside, waiting for any sign of a Beatle to appear in a window. WABC AM, broadcasting fron a suite in the hotel, kept the crowd excited, awaiting the return of the medal. Not to be scooped, WINS AM managed a phone call with Paul, while WMCA AM caught up with Ringo and aired reports from Forest Hills Tennis Stadium.
