Bobby Vinton is an American pop music singer of Polish origins. Vinton is the only child of a locally popular bandleader, Stan Vinton. At 16, Vinton formed his first band, which played clubs around the Pittsburgh area. With the money he earned, he helped finance his college education at Duquesne University, where he studied music and graduated with a degree in musical composition. While at Duquesne, he became proficient on all of the instruments in the band: piano, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, drums and oboe. Vinton's birthplace of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania is also the birthplace of Perry Como. His hometown named two streets, Bobby Vinton Boulevard and the shorter adjoining Bobby Vinton Drive, in his honor. Canonsburg town fathers had plans to erect a statue in his honor, but Vinton vetoed the idea noting that the $100,000 planned cost could go to far more important town needs. 16 Most Requested Songs is a collection of 16 Top 40 hits that Bobby Vinton had for Epic Records in the sixties. It is the last of 29 collections in the 16 Most Requested Songs series that was released by Epic.

The songs contained on this tape are from the original EMI recordings and will certainly be a big surprise for Beatles' fans. This tape, which contains a previously unreleased song shows us the "WONDER MAGIC" present during the years when the Beatles were recording. The songs were initially written for the movie the "Yellow Submarine" but was later dropped from the movie as well as this century's greatest album, "Sgt.Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band". It is amazing how this 1967 song has remained in its original condition! Few people have ever heard this song over the last 25 years. Yes, this is the same sound heard 25 years ago.

02 - Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds

04 - Intro To Sgt. Peppers (Applause)

Love Songs is a compilation album that comprises love songs recorded by The Beatles between 1962 and 1970. It was released by Capitol Records in the United States on 21 October 1977 and on Parlophone in the United Kingdom on 19 November 1977. The compilation peaked at #24 in Billboard's Top LPs & Tape chart during a thirty-one week stay that began on 12 November 1977. The RIAA certified the album with sales of three million units in 2000 even though the compilation was deleted in the late 1980s.The LP's original packaging included an 11 x 11" booklet, with the songs' lyrics printed, calligraphy-style, on simulated parchment paper. For the first several pressings, the cover itself was simulated leather, and the Beatles' image (a re-working of Richard Avedon's 1968 portrait, featured in Look Magazine) was simulated gold-foil. The LP was also available on yellow vinyl.
